Romans 6:4
I graduated from Concordia University, Wisconsin, in December 2004. I am originally from Reedsville, WI and went to Wayside Zion Lutheran School. This is my third year teaching and I am very excited to have the 13 fourth graders.
What is the 4th grade doing this year?
Religion- We learn about Jesus and all of his wonderful miracles.
Reading- We read stories and learn different parts of books, homophones, homonyms, and much more!
Math- Start practicing your multiplication and division facts! We also work with money, measuring, and some fractions!
English- Nouns, verbs, prepositional phrases, and more is what we learn here.
Science- We make a cell made out of food! Lots of other cool stuff is done here too!
Social Studies- We are starting off with a unit all about the state of Wisconsin. We then go on to learning about all the regions of the United States. Be sure to brush up on your U.S. map!
Adventures in Dairyland- This is taught by Amy Engel. She will teach us all about cows, farming, the process of cheese, and more. This lasts for a few weeks in the spring. With this, we also go on a farm tour and a grocery store tour.
