Volleyball
The St. Paul boys team had a great showing at the Concordia Invitational Volleyball Tournament in Mequon. On Friday night, they beat First Immanuel, Cedarburg in two games and then lost to St. John, West Bend in three. This loss put them in the bottom half of the bracket. After sitting all morning, the boys warmed up to play three back to back matches. First they played Redeemer and won in two games, then it was First Immanuel, Cedarburg, again. They beat First Immanuel in two games and went on to the semifinals against St. John, West Bend. In the semifinal, the team received some retribution as they beat St. John in two games. In the finals, St. Paul had to face conference rival, St. James, Shawano. Since St. Paul had a loss already, they had to beat St. James twice!! In the first match, St. Paul did come away with a victory in three games. Sadly, in the second match, they lost both games with a score of 23-25 in each. The boys showed a lot of poise and ENDURANCE throughout the day. Congratulations on a great finish to the year. To see some pictures from the tournament, click here.
