ADMISSION
POLICY
The
primary purpose of St. Paul Lutheran School
is the Christian training of the children who
are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church and
of the unchurched children in our community.
At times when space may be limited, enrollment
will be considered in the following order of
preference:
1.
Children of St. Paul Lutheran Congregation
whose parents are members of the congregation
2.
Children of parents who are neither
contributing nor communicant members of another
denomination
3.
Children (unsolicited) whose parents
are members by contribution and attendance of
other churches
A
child wishing to enroll in the kindergarten
program must be five years old by September
first of the year in which he/she is enrolled.
In
order for a child to be accepted into the first
grade at St. Paul, he/she must have reached
the age of six by September first of the year
in which he/she is enrolled.
A
parent-principal interview is required for all
students wishing to enroll at St. Paul for the
first time. Children transferring to our school
from another school should bring the last report
card received from that school. All students
are enrolled on a tentative basis until all
records are received and reviewed by the principal.
Enrollment of all pupils could be subject to
approval by the Board of Christian Education.
