All
school-related extracurricular activities are
prohibited after school and during the evenings
on Wednesdays during Lent. This does not include
the youth group. (040603.1)
Students
who stay after school for extra- curricular
activities such as sports, cheerleading, and
school plays are supervised by teachers and/or
coaches. Students who are kept after school
for detention, instructional help or other school-related
activities are also under the supervision of
teachers. Students should not stay after school
unless they are asked to or required to stay
after school by the teacher. For all other reasons,
parents should send a note or phone the school
office. We must be informed about why students
are here after school hours.
Students
who stay after school will not be given permission
to leave the school grounds unless we have prior
contact from the parent by note or phone indicating
the need for a student to leave the school grounds.

Please
note a policy change for extracurricular activities.
Parents are responsible for their children
if a practice is scheduled at a time other than
right after school. For example, if a student
has a practice scheduled for 3:15, or even 3:30,
they are expected to stay at school and in a designated
area until their coach arrives. If a student has
a practice scheduled to start at 4:30, or some
other time than right after school, he/she is
the responsibility of the parent. Students are
not to stay at school unless a note or phone call
from a parent has been received at school, and
it has been approved by the Principal or Athletic
Director. Students are to arrive for practices
at the designated time. Parents, please pick your
