PROCEDURES
REPORT
CARDS
Report
cards are issued four times a year (see school
calendar for dates). At the end of the first
quarter, parent-teacher consultations are held
at the time of distribution. Similar consultations
will be held in some instances at the end of
the third quarter. Parents are urged to carefully
examine the report card and discuss it with
their child. Parents should feel free to arrange
for a consultation at any time regarding their
child.
MEMORY
WORK
(080700.2)
On
a regular basis, students are to be given time
to say memory work during school hours. This
includes times such as: study halls, quiet time,
or whenever the teacher and student have time.
No student is to lose a recess or noon break
because he/she did not have the time to say
memory work before school.
GRADE
POINT AVERAGE FOR EIGHTH GRADERS
(033087)
The
eighth grade GPA (Grade Point Average) will
use grades from grade 4 through the third quarter
of grade 8. In grades 4 through 7, one grade
for the year is used for each subject matter.
In grade 8, grades are used from quarters one,
two and three.
