REGULATIONS
A
nurse from the Shawano County Department of
Health makes periodic visits to the school and
administers vision and hearing tests. Parents
are informed as to the results of these tests
if there is a problem. Parents are also notified
if there is any other apparent health problem.
Children are also expected to participate in
the immunization clinics and to regularly have
a dental examination.
According
to Wisconsin State Law, children are not to
share food. (090802) In all school situations,
each student is responsible for his/her own
hydration (liquid) supply. For health purposes,
NO sharing is to take place. (040603.2)
Students
who have a signed permission note from their
parents and doctors on file at St. Paul may
use inhalers as medication. (080700.1)
