LUNCH

Our school will provide its own hot lunch program for those children who desire it. All children enrolled in this hot lunch program shall make payments directly to St. Paul Lutheran School. Children not involved in the hot lunch program may bring their own lunches and eat with their classmates in the lunchroom. We will use the following guidelines for our lunch program.

1.   Walk in an orderly manner when getting in line to receive your meal or go to the lunchroom.

2.   Please try to purchase tickets in weekly lots.

3.   Lunch tickets should be purchased only on Mondays or Fridays in the school office or, on the first day back from school vacations.

4.   Students who do not follow the regulations set up for the hot lunch program will lose the privilege of eating hot lunch.

5.   Policy on hot lunch payments: Students of St. Paul buy their tickets by weekly or multi-weekly lots so that a cash flow problem doesn't occur. Students who owe for more than three meals will not be allowed to participate in the hot lunch program until they are current with their hot lunch bill. Students may choose to bring a cold lunch at any time.

6.   Students may not drink soda for lunch. This applies to both our hot lunch and cold lunch programs. (061197)

7.   According to Wisconsin State Law, children are not to share food. (090802)

8.   Students are not to use microwave ovens without permission. Parents are strongly encouraged not to send food that needs warming. We do not have the necessary equipment to handle this situation.

9.   There is a 10% discount for lunch tickets bought in nine or more week lots. (080596)

10.   In all school situations, each student is responsible for his/her own hydration supply. For health purposes, there is to be NO sharing of hydration supplies taking place. (040603.2)

Parents who wish to apply for free or reduced lunches may pick the form up at the school office. Applications need to be approved by Mr. Wegner before a child can participate in the free or reduced hot lunch program.
