(P.O.P.S)
Mission
Statement: Our mission is to encourage
the nurturing of holiness in our children and
their families by promoting Christian activities
and projects in a loving and caring manner.
Goal
Statement: Through these activities
our hope is to increase the desire for godliness
in the lives of these children and their families
which will allow them to better embrace their
Christian education as it prepares them for
life now and in eternity.
What
else does P.O.P.S. stand for?
Power
of Parental Supervision
1.
To do the work to train up the child in the
way he should go so when he is old, he will
not depart from it.
2. To act as the role model portraying the
Chist like characteristics they want them
to attain.
3. To maintain the God given duty of being
the authority in the home.
Power
of Practical Servitude
1.
To nurture and encourage the students in the
Christian principals of putting Jesus first,
others second, and themselves last.
2. To be an example of the same.
Power
of Pupil Showmanship
1. Showing obedience to the authority of the
teachers in the classroom and respect for
all school rules.
2. In utilizing the fruits of the Spirit when
interacting with other students.
3. In setting a godly example for guests and
non-believers so that they may be won by our
conduct.
Power
of Performing Scripture
1.
Not only to read and know the Word of God,
but to act and react
in it so all we do is pleasing to God.
Power
of Perfect Submission
1.
In acknowledging God in all we do so that
He will guide our steps.
Power
of Prayer Support
1.
To pray genuinely from the heart for the needs
of our family, for the Spiritual strength
and guidance of the school, for the working
of the Holy Spirit in the church and lives
of all involved at St. Paul.
P.O.P.S.
has provided for many projects in and around
school including:

Providing funds for Bowling and Movies
Concordia
Invitational Volleyball Tournament
Providing funds for hotel costs and a pizza
party
Eighth
Grade Development
Providing funds for the Eighth Grade class
trip

Treats
P.O.P.S. provides treats for students on their
birthdays
Provides rememberances for Baptism Birthdays
